Yes it is reproducible. I tried it again today and it crashed again.
Steps to reproduce (:

* Start Homebank
* Add two accounts
* Add a category
* Add a subcategory
* Add a new category that is a income category
* Crash!

Don't know what steps are needed but these steps were performed both times.
