Bug Description

In Hardy Heron, Firefox 3.0b5 when doubleclicking a text-link on a webpage (no <a href -tags just an URL as text) it doesn't highlight the complete url, only portions between dots or slashes.
Ex:
doubleclicking http://www.test.cc and clicking on test highlights only the word "test".

Thank you for filing this bug with us. Since all i have is a windows pc handy i tested it in IE and it happens exactly the same way. I dont think this is a firefox bug i think its more of the sites themselves. Can you please test this on epiphany, galeon, konq. or any other browsers handy at this time.
Closing bug for now as it isnt firefox issue, please reopen if the other browsers show same issue.

Changed in firefox:
assignee: nobody → mozilla-bugs
status: New → Invalid

Firefox didn't act like this before the upgrade fram Gutsy to Hardy.
But maybee it's a Gnome-issue?
