amsn and pidgin msn-protocol bug

Im using ubuntu 8.04 beta and ive got a problem with the msn protocol on both amsn and pidgin.

Other users cant see my status, they see me offline all the time and if they try to write messages to me, i cant recieve the messages.

I dont know how i can get more information about this bug, but i hope thats enough information to find the bug and to fix it.

Is the problem persists in the final version of Ubuntu 8.04?
