npviewer.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()

npviewer crashes while using firefox. Firefox remains open and continues to operate after a short pause (firefox window dims) of 2-3 seconds when npviewer crashed.

This often, but not always, seems to happen when closing firefox tabs.
