Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon
OpenOffice 2.3.0
I just got a phone call from a friend of mine that I converted to Ubuntu about a year ago.
It seems that when download a document from the internet, editing it and saving it, OpenOffice saves to /tmp by default.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download a doc file from a website
2. Edit it
3. Save it
4. Shut the computer off
5. Try to edit it the next day.
6. Fail!
