Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

i use 8.10 and the problem is different now.

when wlan switch was in OFF state and i want to turn it ON, i have to reboot after pressing the wlan switch to make it work.
when wlan switch is in ON state and i want to turn it OFF, i just have to press it and it works.

strange behaviour, but i can live with it : )
