impossible to use my usb hub

Bug Description

Binary package hint: usb-discover

Hello,

i have a little usb hub and when i put my mouse and keyboard on it, it is very slow..

the hub works great on a other pc with windows xp or linux mint.
the hub works great on a the same pc with debian etch...

Hello and thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

Some more details are needed in order to investigate this bug efficiently. Could you please provide :
- The USB hub brand and model names
- The output of the command 'lsusb -v' issued in a terminal console
- Kernel messages issued upon connection of the hub (use the 'dmesg' command in a terminal console to see them)

And if your keyboard/mouse work correctly when connecting them directly to the computer :
- Kernel messages issued upon connection of the mouse/keyboard to the hub
- Kernel messages issued upon connection of the mouse/keyboard directly to the PC

Thanks for helping Ubuntu getting better.
