Impossible to send bugreport via proxy

Bug Description
I have several crashes (Java, Flash wrapper) on my 64 bit ubuntu system (8.04) The machine is not able to send the crashreports behind proxy. I have configure Gnome proxy settings, so other applications can use it. Please make able apport to use user's proxy settings in the Gnome.
