Bug Description
Binary package hint: nspluginwrapper
I am using 64-bit Ubuntu Hardy with all updates. I am also using Firefox with the shipped nsplugin and flashplugin-
Ever since nspluginwrapper was updated, Flash in Firefox occasionally stops responding, and I have to quit Firefox and reopen it. I can't find a pattern why it happens (it happens on its own) but if I play a Youtube video, and press F5 to refresh the page, Flash dies and I have to reopen Firefox to be able to play a Flash video on every site.
Previously, I was using the package "nspluginwrappe
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Install Flash + nspluginwrapper
2.) Go to Youtube.com and watch any video
3.) While the video is playing press F5 to reload the page.
4.) Flash dies.
This happens in other instances too but this is the only way I can reproduce it every time. Youtube videos just turn into a white box and Flash will not work on any page after it dies until I restart Firefox.
I am running Ubuntu Hardy myself and I cannot reproduce this bug.
Please paste the output of the command (in Terminal):
apt-cache policy nspluginwrapper
Run Firefox from terminal (enter the command firefox in terminal), and reproduce your bug. Once your bug is reproduced, copy the text in the Terminal and paste here.
This is bug is odd because 0.9.91.5-2ubuntu1 should have fixed the issue.
