Bug Description

Binary package hint: quodlibet

When you activate the plugin "Browser Folder" you can open the folder which contains a album by right clickling on that album and "Plugins -> View in Nautilus". This doesn't work in Hardy any more. I get an error message

"Nautils can't use this kind of file"
(translated from german...)

I guess it's a regression from GVFS.

Thanks for your report.
The "browse folders" plugin is in quodlibet-plugins, changed the package.

However, I can't confirm this issue in 20070625-1ubuntu2 (current hardy). What file browser did you set in the plugin settings?

Thanks,

I can reproduce this error now on a new installation of Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex with a clean user profile. When i activate "Plugins -> View in Nautilus" and try top open a album folder i get the following error

Could not display "/home/data/mp3/Rosenstolz/2008_Die_Suche_Geht_Weiter".
Nautilus can't use this kine of places (translated from german)

I've got the following packages installed

$ dpkg -l quodlibet*
[...]
ii quodlibet 1.0.ds1-2ubuntu1 audio library manager and player for GTK+
ii quodlibet-ext 1.0.ds1-2ubuntu1 extensions for the Quod Libet audio player
ii quodlibet-plugins 20070625-1ubuntu2 various contributed plugins for Quod Libet
