Equalizer does not work in Exaile Exaile 0.2.11

I'm using :
- Ubuntu 8.04 64b beta
- Exaile 0.2.11 (0.2.11.1-0ubuntu2)

- alsa-base 1.0.16-0ubuntu4
- alsa-utils 1.0.15-3ubuntu2

Put any song to play but equalizer does not work.

it's more than a month after the "fix commited", i have my ubuntu [8.04] up-to-date but exaile's equalizer still doesn't seem to work
does anybody hear any difference when changing sliders in exaile's equalizer?

Are you running the bzr trunk of Exaile? Fix committed just means it's in the code trunk, not "released".

i'm running exaile version 0.2.11.1-0ubuntu3
too pity exaile is the only player for gnome having an equalizer and even so.. it doesn't work right now!
[and installing amarok is NOT a solution for a gnome user]
when to expect the fix committed to the trunk as released [in ubuntu repos]?

EQ running on Exaile 0.2.13

Waiting for repository update, or if you don't want to wait, download deb file from Exaile web page. It works perfectly.

OK I just installed 0.2.13 on my machine (hardy), and the only difference I see is a non functional checkbox that is supposed to enable the eq. The eq still does not work.

Also when I click on the "Enable Equalizer" the song starts over. I have a few segfaults in my dmesg from exaile:

I can report that the equalizer under 2.1.13 does not work. It shows up, allows the 'checkbox', but there is NO alteration of sound even if moving the bass/treble sliders max one way or another.

8.04 Hardy (32 bit) 0.2.13 player. (all codecs installed.)

Closing this old bug. The equalizer code has had several revisions since, and the development branch doesn't have equalizer yet.
