Firefox 3 reopen last opened tabs miltipied by 3 to 5

I observed from Firefox 3 beta 4 - when I close multiple tabs - when reopen session Firefox multiply tabs by 3 or by 5 sometime.

can be because extensions ?

is this still a problem with the latest ffox 3? If so, this is best dealt upstream as its not a ubuntu specific issue. first, verify that this is not caused by some extensions (disable all in tools -> addons and restart).
