Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I was downloading packages upgrades, and the update crashed. The main window with the information and checkboxes, where you can select the upgrades to install, closed automatically, but the small window with the progress bar, which indicates the packages left to download, did not, and continues downloading.

The crash occurred on the download phase, before the install and configuration phase.

Is this reproducible with 8.10 or 9.04 ?
