Ubuntu 8.04 beta
Notebook Compaq Evo N800V
PC Card model WL-107G
driver rt2500pci

Connection speed set by the nm-applet is always 1 Mb/s. Under Ubuntu 7.10 it was workig at 54 Mb/s.

as a workaround, you can set the speed manually with "sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 54M"
