Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

I am running 8.04 beta with all current updates. I user thunderbird 2.0.0.12 as my mail client. Since the upgrade to 8.04 from 7.10, when I try to open some of my emails it will crash thunderbird. It is only about 1/4 of the emails that will trigger the crash. I have been unable to figure out what is different about those emails that trigger the crash vs those that don't. My email account is on an exchange server that I use IMAP to connect to. The crash will happen either if I try to open the email or click on it to open it in the preview panel. I can workaround the crash by forwarding/replying to/editing as new the email in order to see what is inside of it. An email that will cause the crash will continue to keep causing the crash and an email that is safe will always be safe.
