Bug Description
I just upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy Beta yesterday. And I have been seeing a weird behavior with the "keyboard focus".
Suppose I have two windows open, window1 and window2, and window2 currently has focus. Now, if I close window2, the focus switches to window1. But typing anything in window1 doesn't work at all. Even if I click inside window1, and then start typing, nothing happens. The only way I can switch "keyboard focus" to window1 is by clicking on the title bar of window1.
I tried this with firefox (window2) and gnome-terminal (window1). Then with firefox (window2) and eclipse (window1). And once with evolution (window2) and terminal (window1).
I also tried it with and without compiz. Same symptoms.
I have a Thinkpad T61 running Hardy Beta, upgraded from Gutsy. Let me know if I can provide any other information.
