Since a few days ago flash does not work anymore in Firefox 3. No problems with flash in Konqueror-kde4.

I'll be happy to provide more debug info if you tell me what you need.

I have had the same issue. Upgraded to Hardy a few days ago (4/4/2008). Tried to watch something in flash and got the missing plug in message, I went through all the various steps I could find to correct the problem including the non-free install again. Nothing has worked.

I can see videos in Galleon, but not in FF 3.0 Beta. I am running Hardy on an AMD64 bit system. If there is any other information needed I will be happy to provide what I can.

I can confirm that this is a recently introduced problem and that the flash plugin was working in firefox on 64-bit Hardy until within the last few days.

For me, the reporter of the bug, this has been resolved with the update to Firefox 3 Beta 5. Flash is working now.

Marking as invalid unless someone else can confirm this a problem in Firefox 3b5 or later.

Changed in firefox-3.0:

I would disagree that this is resolved. I attached two screen shots that indicate to me that flash is still not working for hardy, FF 3.0 beta 5. At the moment I use galleon to watch videos, but I cannot understand why flash works in galleon and not FF.

Ill second the fact that flash is not working on hardy. I attempted to install 'flashplugin-nonfree' and it did not support any common flash based pages i.e. youtube, pandora etc. I got it to work via a hack from ubuntu forums but not natively.
