ATI card glitchy in Hardy Heron Beta

Bug Description

I am trialing Hardy Heron Beta, I have an ATI 9800 and enabled the restricted drivers. Since then whenever I run an application that uses 3d in windowed mode the application flickers a lot, when you change to full screen its fine. The animations on the desktop eg firefox button when pressed are also glitchy.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Does the driver produce any debugging messages / errors in the system log?
