Bluetooth applet says it connected when mouse powered on, but mouse doesn't sync back

I opened up the bluetooth applet after a reboot with my previously connected mouse turned off, and when i turn it on the "connected" symbol appears next to my mouse, and I see my bluetooth light start blinking, but the mouse's "connected" light doesn't appear like it use to, and the mouse doesn't work. I have to remove the mouse from the applet, restart the computer, and resync it for it to work.

This problem randomly occurs.

I've had this problem since feisty. Could it be my mouse?

Well, i have been playing around with Fedora 8, and my mouse works flawlessly 100% of the time.
