Hardy DVD freezes right aftr bootmenu display

Bug Description

Hardy Heron 8.0.4 i386 DVD freezes / crashes right after boot menu display, but the CD version does not have that problem. Other DVDs boot without problems on the same machine (AMD XP3000+).

have you check that your dvd is not corrupted? have you tried using a more recent dvd-build?
