adding an event to resource calendar doesn't do anything

Bug Description
I'm not sure if we are semi-intentionally doing this to prevent double-booking weirdness, but allowing the user to fill out the add event form and then silently failing is not good.

The reason is some kind of mess with cancel_url vs next_url that was introduced when making Add Event/Edit Event forms redirect back to the calendar that a person came from.
So i'll have to add the functional test so it would not happen again, and fix the urls.
