When switching from list view to icon view visual corruption of background appears. This did not start out this way, occurred after a few hours of intermittent use. The background is using a wallpaper. I tried to find a bug report that was not listed as invalid for this bug. I have an AMD video card.

Change that to an ATI video card, typo. I am using Hardy 8.04. on a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop with an Intel Pentium M processor 2.0GHz. I have 630.1 MiB memory. I am running the Linux Kernal 2.6.24-16-386.
