Just want to install php5-pgsql package for postgresql support in php5, but encountered:

The following packages are BROKEN:

0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 51.3kB of archives. After unpacking 193kB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  php5-pgsql: Depends: php5-common (= 5.2.3-1ubuntu6.2) but 5.2.3-1ubuntu6.3 is installed.

It looks like you've installed php5 from gutsy-updates (5.2.3-1ubuntu6.3), then removed gutsy-updates from your sources.list, so you're getting php5-pgsql from gutsy-security (5.2.3-1ubuntu6.2). Re-add updates to your sources.list again, and all should be well with the world.

Changed in php5:
status: New → Invalid
