Bug Description
I installed Ubuntu 7.04 by booting to the cd. I installed it to a flash dirve. I reformatted the flash drive on anther computer.
Now, when I try to boot up the first computer I get a grub error. How do I get it to boot to xp. The grub would come up when I had the flash in and I could boot fine. Now I do not have the flash, how can I get the cpu to boot to xp?
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

When I booted with the flash drive in, the grub menu came up and I could boot to xp. With out the flash drive I get an error and it will not boot to xp.
The grub must initiate from the hard drive.
I know, I should dump xp.
