Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu 7.04 by booting to the cd. I installed it to a flash dirve. I reformatted the flash drive on anther computer.

Now, when I try to boot up the first computer I get a grub error. How do I get it to boot to xp. The grub would come up when I had the flash in and I could boot fine. Now I do not have the flash, how can I get the cpu to boot to xp?

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

The grub must initiate from the hard drive.

I know, I should dump xp.

It sounds like you installed the bootloader to the primary hard drive. You are able to select whether or not to install the bootloader and the install location for it in the advanced dialog on the summary page. Converting to a question as this is not a bug.
