firefox does not display scaled jpegs

Bug Description

if a website uses a jpeg picture which is scaled using the width and height attribute in the img tag, firefox just displays a black box.

running hardy with all updates applied.

This seems to be the case with all picture formats (at least the problem exists with jpgs and gifs)
