Bug Description

After Resume, my Wireless card Intel Pro 3945 ABG does not reconnect. NetworkManager reports no connection.
In the systemlog I found:

Mar 31 15:48:08 laplinux NetworkManager: <info> Error getting killswitch power: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.KillSwitch.NotSupported - hal-ipw-killswitch-linux returned 255

sudo /etc/init.d/hal restart helps to establish a connection again

Ubuntu Hardy development, upgraded with latest. This bug only appeared with the latest hal (0.5.11-rc2-1ubuntu5), which is in the repo since some days. Laptop Fujitsu siemens Amilo pi 1536

In the Ubuntu forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=739229) I received the solving line for this problem: move or remove the following file and let it regenerate on reboot and it should start working:

/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

But I guess this bug should still be fixed in order to prevent users to have to do this themselves whe upgrading.
