Binary package hint: tracker
Because I do most of my work in xml, I would very much like to see xml files indexed in tracker. For the moment, it seems that tracker only indexes the name of xml files. I imagine it would be very simple to develop a general xml filter that indexed text nodes and ignored tags. People could turn off xml indexing if they really don't want it, but it would be a nice option to have for those who use xml extensively.
