Thanks for your report, that works pretty fine for me, as a test case:

1- Go to http://planet.gnome.org/rss20.xml
2- Click on the Subscribe Now button
3- Check if the subscrition is on your bookmarks

Can you provide us the url you had tested with? thanks.

Peter,

If it is a JavaScript issue causing the problem - as the case seems to be; Then it would more likely be your personal setup, I would imagine.

Do you have JavaScript disabled, or any extensions such as ScriptBlock or similar installed and active? If so try enabling JavaScript or disabling said extensions depending on the situation on your machine, then try again.

If the above is not the problem can you recreate the problem with any RSS feeds or just on a particular site?

Steven

I have the same problem using Firefox & Thunderbird (as a RSS reader).
Reading messages in the Thunderbird's status bar, I noticed Firefox sends Thunderbid site's URLs without the prefix "http://", therefore Thunderbird is not be able to manage it.
Actually if I try to subscribe manually adding the prefix "http://" to the same URL, Thunderbird works correctly.
I hope this note could be useful to solve the problem.
Antonio.
