Bug Description

After clicking on the red icon, upgrading the system and closing update-manager
the notification window doesn't disappear.

Thanks for your bugreport.

I can confirm this behaviour. The tooltip will go away when clicking on it or
after 60 secs. But i agree that it should go away when the upgrade icon goes away.

This problem is fixed in my local tree and will be part of the next upload.

This fixed in breezy already (and the fix was obvious).
