Sounds like bug #82335 might be back. Slightly related to bug #191889 too.

Y'all are talking about having to tell Firefox Ubuntu to work online every time you re-launch the program or refresh the page, right? It doesn't detect that the computer is on line? This does seem to be a problem in the Ubuntu network manager program; the same thing happens with Evolution email. The techs at my ISP say it only happens with dialup? And it doesn't happen with the (year old?) version of Firefox on my Mac.

I have never used the work online/work off line feature on the Mac. To me it seems a completely unnecessary feature that makes it difficult to use both my web browser and email. But if it messes up in both Firefox and Evolution, isn't the fix in Ubuntu?

Please fix it.
