Bug Description
Binary package hint: moblin-applets
I am using Ubuntu Hardy, with the ubuntu-mobile package installed. The problem is simple: control panel applets like the touchscreen configuration require administrator access, so it launches gksudo. However, gksudo grabs all input, so there is no way to launch the keyboard applet and enter in your password.
To replicate:
1. Open hildon-
2. Open "touchscreen" applet
3. Observe gksudo appearing, with no mechanism to enter in the password without a keyboard
You can use gconf-editor to enable the 'disable-grab' option in /app/gksu ... which *almost* works, however you still cannot click on the keyboard applet to make it work, instead the mouse icon continues to spin waiting for gksu input.
