Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

firefox:
  Installé : 3.0~b4+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
  Candidat : 3.0~b4+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
 Table de version :
 *** 3.0~b4+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

When I do "save as" and select a removable media a destination to download the file, firefox remembers well this destination for the next time we want to save something. But the second time I want to save something using the right click button and the "save as" menu. The previous used destination is preselected in the dialog box. But when this destination is a removable media, its name, let say "USBKEY" disappears immediately and let a blank instead of "USBKEY" in the dialog box.

If we don't select again the destination "USBKEY", firefox still save the file there. The bug is only in displaying the name of the previous destination, and
it only occurs when this destination is a removable media. I only tried with the live CD but I tried with different removable media, usb key, external hard disk on different computer. The behaviour of Firefox dialog window is always the same, and replace the previously used destination by a blank when this
destination is a removable media.

is this still a problem with the latest ffox 3? If so, this is best dealt upstream as its not a ubuntu specific issue. Please search in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org to ensure that your bug isn't filed; then open a bug in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org and post your bug id (or the one you found matching your issue) here. Thanks!
