Using an external monitor, or your panel? If your panel, it has a fixed rate of

Aha, makes sence.

I have just pluged in an external monitor and it also uses 60Hz, is it posible
to configure ubuntu with two different refresh rates? one for panel and one for
external?

Same issue with Breezy preview 1. External monitor is also using 60Hz and there
is no way in the gnome screenresoloution dialog to setup the external monitors
refreshrate.
