Thanks for taking your time to report this bug. A new version of the package has been accepted in hardy-backports. Can you please test if the same problem exists in this version?

I've tried reproducing this using the described way in the 0.7.4 series available in hardy-backports, intrepid and jaunty. This looks to be fixed in this version, so I'm marking it as such. Please reopen the bug if you find steps to reproduce it in the new version, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future. To reopen the bug report you can click on the current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New". Thanks again!
