Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

When printing a pdf file in fully up to date Hardy as of 27-Mar-2008, no matter which printer or PPD I choose for that printer, and although the on screen display is correct, the printed document will have underlined text shifted over or the entire word of a header shifted over.

1st attachment is a bad print job by evince (printer=CUPS-PDF). Take a look at Section D.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Intrepid Ibex. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Actually, this seems to be fixed in Hardy now with the updated packages. I suppose this bug can be closed.
