Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xgl

Appeared on a Samsung p35 laptop, usb keyboard and mouse connected. Somethings definetly wrong here,after login ubuntu hardy complains about the gnomesettings manager not beeing started, the system is much too slow, alt/gr won|t work, at shutdown some errors from the network manager are shown etc.

Ive just updated from Gutsy, doing daily updates.

If that would help you i could gather more informations, just tell me the commands.

Thanks for your answer, but in the meantime this bug doesn't happen any more. I'm sorry it took your time, I will check my other reported bugs rightaway if they are still actual.

I'll try to close this bug, if I can't figure out how to do it or if I have no permissions for that, I'd appreciate if you could do that for me :-) .

Obviously, a bugfix has been committed - don't know what the fix was ( or what it fixed) , but this bugreport became invalid
