Bug Description

I use the "connect to server" feature of nautilus a lot to move stuff between servers. After upgrading to Hardy Beta, ssh mounts don't work reliable anymore, transfer just stops after a certain time (after about 5 to 6 MB). If than I try to open a folder on the remote Host, all I get is a dbus error and restarting nautilus is the only way to get it working again.

OK, here is the exact dbus error I get:

»sftp://<email address hidden>/var/www/....« konnte nicht angezeigt werden.

Fehler: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you try if that's still an issue using the new gvfs 0.2.2 version?

just made an update and rebootet, same problem, it always hangs after exactly the same amount of data, see the attached picture showing the progress dialog which doesn't move for more than half an hour already. There are 1264 files in the folder to be copyed.

are you sure you got the new version? does gvfs-copy works correctly to copy when getting the issue?

synaptic tells me it is 0.2.2-1 (hardy).
After I get the issue in nautilus, gvfs-copy doesn't work either,

Error copying file /media/cdrom/LSR/photos/index.html: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

I even tryed to copy a different set of files, the problem appears after 5,7 MB of data copied.

does gvfs-ls or gvfs-copy works correctly on the mount when you get the issue?

neither gvfs-copy mor gvfs-info did work, gvfscopy gave the following error:

Error copying file /media/cdrom/LSR/photos/index.html: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
