Sudo -Root problems in Kubuntu 8.04 KDE 4 Remix

Bug Description

The liveCD and when installed seemed to have problems. There seems to be a security flaw in that I can open up konsole, type in sudo konsole and it will not ask me for my password and then I can type in like "/usr/lib/kde4/bin/konqueror" and have access to all the files, this is while installed on the hard drive and not the liveCD.

sudo is not working like it has in all other releases. I'm running kubuntu 8.04 KDE 4.0 Remix on a i386
If I use sudo and the application name it says command not found, such as this example:
$ sudo konqueror
sudo: konqueror: command not found

$konqueror
without sudo works just fine and the browser will appear.

"$sudo apt-get install" does seem to work.

I noticed KDE4sudo was a new package that came out, but I am still experiencing the same issues.

Good afternoon,

I am also having problems with this and marking it confirmed. Note both sudo and kdesudo result in the same result. Command not found.

Updates are current as of today -- April 10

Greetings,

It seems to be a permission-related problem, as most files do not have execute permissions.

$sudo chmod +x file

Should fix that for now...
