Firefox 3 Beta 4 Checkboxes and Radio Buttons don't work properly

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I click a Checkbox or Radiobutton in Firefox 3 they become gray boxes until I click somewhere else on the HTML Page.

Im using Kubuntu KDE3
Package version: firefox-3.0 3.0~b4+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

Radio buttons do not update until you click outside of the group. check boxes update as soon as they lose focus. Actually they may be updating, but the large dotted rectangle indicating that they have been selected is not being removed after the click event and so hides the new status of the checkbox or radio button.

I believe the best duplicate of this bug is 220575 - it has the most uptodate information and correctly marked package for what causes this problem.

so i changes both this and the other dup of this (194624) to dups of that bug
