Bug Description

Binary package hint: libapache-mod-ssl

I'm settiing up a print fax file server using the 8.04 server beta iso.

I'm using an very old PC w/ an Intel BIOS AN430TX from 1998 (newest version as far as I could find so far..) with an Fritz!Wlan USB stick.

Installation went fine so far (after using a seperate partion for boot), followed by 3 firther partions for /, home and var. Continued to set up system w/ Option OpenSSH, Print and LAMP server.

Continued to set up network connection using wiki of 7.10 for WLAN connection (sorry system has no Ethernet card and the external modem was not detected...) using the Fritz!bos USB stick and static IP address.

Did set up bind9 and updated the software.

After that I installed hylafax and avantfax which was running perfect after sorting out a few packages to be installed which are differently packaged compared to Fedora (the standard platform for Avantfax).

All went reasonable through and I can now print fax and I am on the way to set up samba for a mix Linux/Windows Home Network.

To access Avantfax from the Internet wich is key to this project I wanted to modify my web setup for avantfax to use ssl.

Here I some major glitches which were reported on former Ubuntu releases as well. There is for example a complete directory missing /etc/apache2/ssl and a few handy programs to create the nessesar X509 keys to get it running. sign.sh
