gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The workspace-switcher applet version 2.22.0 causes the gnome-panel to die. The problem is pseudo-random, but I have been able to reproduce it. When you mouse-over the switcher while running compiz you will see a pop-up that describes various hotkey actions that are appropriate for different plug-ins relative to the switcher. If you mouse-over several times ( inconsistent number) then click on the panel for some other reason all running instances of the gnome-panel die and are restarted.
