Bug Description

Not sure what caused this crash. I had several apps open (openoffice, firefox, thunderbird, some gnome-terminals) and had walked away from the computer for a few minutes while it was running on battery. When I returned, the system was unresponsive (mouse would not move, capslock light did not change). When I plugged the laptop back in, X restarted itself and now it appears to be working fine.
