Bug Description

Compared to the last LTS version (22.04 - Jammy), the version on the 24.04 Noble LTS is not compiled with GUI support, and it is fundamentally a GUI application.

Ubuntu version : 24.04 Noble Numbat
Package version : 0.79.10-3.1

Thanks for reporting.

The root cause seems to be that the GUI has not been ported from GTK2 to newer versions. So it seems to have been disabled on purpose until it works with newer GTK versions. See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=967320 for more details
