Bug Description

2.22.0-0ubuntu2 in Hardy Heron, installed from Alpha 6 and continually updated.

I have an IMAP account configured which has several folders as well as Inbox. If I type a search string to filter messages in Inbox, it filters them correctly and shows matching messages.

If I then select another folder, without clearing the search box, the search box stays highlighted in blue (as if to indicate an active search), but with no search string, and no matching messages are displayed. It is not possible to clear the search box. It is necessary to switch back to Inbox, clear the search string there, and switch to the other folder again.

This problem occurs when switching between any two folders, but _only_ if one of the folders has not previously had a search performed in it. Once a folder has been filtered using the search box, the problem described above does not appear again.

I'm having this issue in 11.10, does anyone else?

Evolution is version 3.2.1-0ubuntu1

Also, I don't think this issue is related to the upstream bug 517258.
