Binary package hint: pydance

Pydance is no longer updated. Nowdays only working DDR-like game is Stepmania, witch can't be found in Ubuntu repos - so I think that it's good time to remove Pydance and add Stepmania instead. Both use the some step-format so "pydance-music" can be converted to "stepmania music".

Well we don't have to remove one to include the other.

Does pydance not actually work? We don't have any bugs to that effect.

Pydance have a lot of quirks - i.e. wrong mp3 support. When downloading songs there's sometime problem with reading them, or double-positions(one song have 2 "clones" on list - i.e. evangelion from commonly used DDR Anime Mix 1)
Another thing is where can I submit request to add Stepmania to repos?

It's already been requested and is waiting on Debian sorting some licensing
issues out with the creators.

i'm going to merge this bug in with the one requesting that stepmania is packaged. If you want to make a case that pydance is so bad that it needs to be removed from the archives (and potentially not replaced with anything) then you'll need to file a new bug.

The argument against packaging stepmania seem to be that the themes are/were totally ripped from commercial software.
