Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

On Ubuntu 8.04 beta:
I simply tried to share a folder using Samba. At first I had to install services. Files downloaded and installed and I got the same prompt to install services again. Tried installing again, guessing it would bypass, but nothing happened.
Then I tried to authenticate. It didn't show the Add button, so I restarted my computer. Then, after authenticating I would see the Add button. Clicking on it, I chose a partition to share with Windows (samba) and unchecked the Read only box.
That's when it crashed, after I closed the dialog box. Finally, drives disappeared from the desktop and "My computer" is no longer working.
Didn't reboot to see if it comes back. Don't know if the partition has been shared.
