When I generate g g > ax j [QCD] where ax is an axion-like particle and then output gg_ax_j, I get the following error:

Hi,

Note that python2 is not supported any more and that we do not have any test checking if our code is compatible with that version of the code.

I do believe that your issue is a python2 specific one since I do not reproduce such error with python3 (I just have a warning, but the code recover). The warning on python3 is related to our move to git, which drops an empty directory. So to remove the warning with python3, I have changed the copy of the (empty) directory to a creation of an (empty) directory.

I do believe that this will also fix your crash with python2, but I'm not able to test it, neither to ensure that you will not face any other issue with python2. On the other hand, I'm happy (to try) to fix any python2 issue that you report if you decide to continue with running python2.

If you want to apply a patch, here it is: https://github.com/mg5amcnlo/mg5amcnlo/commit/6e14ba3e6a97df64f7be9eba532357f038ed028a

Cheers and thanks,

Olivier

Thank you! I can't update python on the online shared space I'm using, so I'm confined the python2. It seems like the patch worked.
