Bug Description

On a test laptop running Ubuntu 24.04, I am occasionally seeing my desktop session crash and return to the login screen.

I haven't identified a pattern for these crashes yet but seems to occur randomly regardless of which app i have open or if I'm interacting with the system or it's idle.
