there is an new stable version upstream and is included in debian unstable and testing (in an few days)

Quite a number of fixes but also changes there. Its a stand-alone application, no bug reports in Debian, so, if you can show us a build and install log, and, more importantly justify why we should update this so late in the cycle, I would be inclined to ack it.

we tested the version from debian unstable and it worked without problem , i will atach an buildlog and screenshots
this is an stable version that fixes many bugs that are described in the changelog
Also the main developers recommend that this version should replace and 0.8.1 or 0.8.3 versions in the main linux distributions
In fact Debian and gentoo already includes this new stable version
Also it doesn't affect the other packages in the distro.
Yes i was late with this report , i first tested it and used it from my ppa repository and waited then the debian version to be published
