Organizing bookmarks causes system lockup (Hardy) firefox 3.0b4

whenever i trying to move my bookmarks into various folders which i have created the system freezes. I have to shutdown the system from tty and reboot.

Thanks for your report, I cannot reproduce this behavior on my system. May you tell us a few easy steps in order to trigger the behavior? Also may you test the same with another firefox profile? thanks.

Hi, please don't close this one yet as it has zed my PC several times. I have enough bookmarks to fill the screen top to bottom. If I select a bookmark with the mouse and attempt to move it up or down the column then my hine seizes up. Running Ubuntu 8.1, Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008101315 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.3
